To those that were lucky enough to score a set of cards from either BestBuy or Walmart pre-orders, you should buy a lotto ticket as well with that luck in hand! Pre-orders sold out in minutes as soon as they were online. The craze of Animal Crossing will be in full swing when the release of cards and the 2.0 update goes live on November 5th 2021.
48 new cards in total for villagers that you can invite to your island getaway as well as having a coffee with them in the new Brewster café within the museum. Each retail pack comes with 6 cards and are priced at $5.99 USD. You will see some outrageous prices from scalpers on eBay and other online marketplaces so be cautious of scams.
The new 2.0 update will also bring the Happy Home Designer to the Switch! Use the Series 1-4 and other cards to use for this new game!
